چکیده
Pseudomonas aeruginosa, belonging to the Pseudomonadaceae family, is Gram-negative, rod-shaped, motile, aerobic, endospore negative, oxidase and catalase positive. It widely found in nature isolated from soil, plants, water animals. can grow rapidly on surface of food form oxidized products mucous substances. P. one leading foodborne pathogens, causes important concerns safety due being a source contamination, causing poisoning antimicrobial resistance animals, forming biofilms difficulties preventing biofilms. In this review, information history, microbiological, cultural biochemical characteristics, virulence factors pathogenicity aeruginosa are given. addition, infections caused by its presence described.

Interkingdom adenosine signal reduces Pseudomonas aeruginosa pathogenicity
Pseudomonas aeruginosa is becoming recognized as an important pathogen in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Here we demonstrate that adenosine, derived from hydrolysis of ATP from the eucaryotic host, is a potent interkingdom signal in the GI tract for this pathogen. The addition of adenosine nearly abolished P. aeruginosa biofilm formation and abolished swarming by preventing production of rham...

The pathogenicity of Pseudomonas aeruginosa is not well defined in spite of the fact that this organism has been isolated from infections occurring in essentially all parts of the human body (Forkner, Pseudomonas aeruginosa Infection, Grune and Stratton, New York, 1960). The organism is generally considered to be an opportunist, secondarily invading (i) those areas of the body where the defense...
متن کاملThe role of 2,4-dihydroxyquinoline (DHQ) in Pseudomonas aeruginosa pathogenicity
Bacteria synchronize group behaviors using quorum sensing, which is advantageous during an infection to thwart immune cell attack and resist deleterious changes in the environment. In Pseudomonas aeruginosa, the Pseudomonas quinolone signal (Pqs) quorum-sensing system is an important component of an interconnected intercellular communication network. Two alkylquinolones, 2-heptyl-4-quinolone (H...

Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain PA14 is a multi-host pathogen that infects plants, nematodes, insects, and vertebrates. Many PA14 factors are required for virulence in more than one of these hosts. Noting that plants have a fundamentally different cellular architecture from animals, we sought to identify PA14 factors that are specifically required for plant pathogenesis. We show that synthesis by...
متن کاملFructooligosacharides Reduce Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1 Pathogenicity through Distinct Mechanisms
Pseudomonas aeruginosa is ubiquitously present in the environment and acts as an opportunistic pathogen on humans, animals and plants. We report here the effects of the prebiotic polysaccharide inulin and its hydrolysed form FOS on this bacterium. FOS was found to inhibit bacterial growth of strain PAO1, while inulin did not affect growth rate or yield in a significant manner. Inulin stimulated...
